Online vs. In-Person Training

Before searching by location, it’s worth understanding your options. Many safety certifications can be completed entirely online. Others require hands-on components.

Fully available online:

• OSHA 10 Construction and General Industry
• OSHA 30 Construction and General Industry
• HAZWOPER 40-Hour, 24-Hour, and 8-Hour Refresher

Requires in-person practical evaluation:

• Forklift certification. Online classroom portion is fine, but the practical evaluation must be in person at your workplace
• Confined space entry. Hands-on rescue drills are typically required
• Fall protection. Equipment inspection and harness fitting usually need in-person instruction
